This stool is sturdy and stable with an all welded steel base and a top platform with grippy rubber tread on it. Generously sized at 14.25" x 11.25" x 9" tall, there's  plenty of space to stand and maneuver as patients practice stepping up, stepping down and turning around. The 36" long handrail provides a secure handhold, allowing users who are less certain on their feet to find and maintain balance. This stool has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. This stool is secure. Reinforced rubber feet at the end of each leg lets users know that once the stool is placed, it isn't going anywhere. At less than 13 lbs., moving this stool to where it's needed, or just out of the way, is an easy task. The handrail, with its diameter of less than an inch, is easy to grip, even for smaller hands. The durable chrome finish means this unit is easy to clean. A little dish soap and a little warm water will do the trick. Any of the commercial chrome cleaners will also work well.
