Mettler ThermalSoft Large Size Back Heat/Cold Pack
This heat therapy pack set includes a large sized - 12-inches x 22-inches - heat/cold pack for doing heat or cold therapy across a large section of a person's back. Hot and cold therapy are widely used by physical therapists and other medical professionals to reduce pain and soreness for injured muscles and other soft tissues.
ThermalSoft has been designed to allow therapists to apply hot and cold therapy from the same pack. For moist heat therapy, place the ThermalSoft pack in hot tap water for 20-30 minutes. The pack can also be microwaved and used for moist or dry heat. For heat therapy, place the pack in a towel or the custom cover and apply to the body.
To use the pack for cold therapy, simply refrigerate the pack. Then place the white membrane directly against the patient's skin.
