Warranty Information
Every product we sell is covered by the warranty of the manufacturer that built it. ProHealthcareProducts.com is an authorized dealer, not the manufacturer, so we do not issue a separate warranty of our own — the coverage that comes with your product is the manufacturer's, and warranty service is performed by them.
This page explains how that works, what the major brands we carry cover, and exactly what to do when something arrives damaged or fails in service.
How warranty coverage works
Warranty terms are set by each manufacturer, not by ProHealthcareProducts.com. Length of coverage, what counts as a covered defect, and how service is delivered all vary by brand — and often by model and by component within the same product.
Warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. Nearly every manufacturer we represent requires that warranty claims go through their own service department, and most will not accept a returned product without a Return Authorization (RA/RMA) number issued by them first. Contacting the manufacturer directly is both required by their policy and the fastest route to a resolution.
What we can do for you:
- Provide your invoice, order date, and serial number — nearly every claim requires proof of purchase
- Confirm the correct warranty contact and service department for your brand
- Supply model numbers, part numbers, and original product documentation
- Help identify which component failed when the warranty terms differ by part
Just email service@prohealthcareproducts.com or call 801-770-3328 with your order number and we'll get you what you need.
Always keep your invoice and serial number. Warranties run to the original purchaser and are generally non-transferable. Manufacturers will decline claims where the serial number has been removed, defaced, or cannot be produced.
Warranty is not the same as a return
These are two different processes with two different timeframes, and using the wrong one costs you time.
Return
You ordered the wrong item, no longer need it, or want to exchange it. Governed by our Shipping & Returns policy: time-limited, requires an RMA from us, and may carry a restocking fee. Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging.
Warranty claim
The product is defective or has failed in normal use. Governed by the manufacturer's warranty, which typically runs one to five years — far longer than any return window. No restocking fee applies to a genuine warranty defect.
If a product arrives dead on arrival or fails within the first few days, contact us first — depending on the brand and timing, replacing it outright is often faster than a warranty repair.
Freight damage — inspect before you sign
Shipping damage is not a warranty claim, and the window to report it is short. Once a delivery receipt is signed clean, the carrier's liability is generally extinguished and the damage cannot be recovered under the manufacturer's warranty either. Manufacturers explicitly exclude transport damage from warranty coverage.
This matters most on freight-shipped items — treatment tables, hi-lo tables, whirlpools and therapy tanks, parallel bars, and traction units. Before the driver leaves:
- Inspect the crate or carton for crushing, punctures, water staining, or a shifted load.
- Note any damage on the delivery receipt / bill of lading before you sign — be specific ("carton crushed on left corner," not "subject to inspection"). This is the single step that preserves your claim.
- Photograph everything — packaging, pallet, labels, and the product — before unpacking further.
- Report concealed damage within 48 hours of delivery. Damage found after unpacking is still recoverable, but only if reported immediately.
- Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. Carriers routinely require inspection of the original packaging and will deny claims where it has been discarded.
Report freight damage to service@prohealthcareproducts.com or 801-770-3328 with photos and your order number, and we will open the carrier claim on your behalf.
Warranty coverage by brand
The terms below are published by each manufacturer and are summarized here for convenience. Coverage frequently differs by model and by component, and manufacturers revise their terms without notice. The warranty documentation supplied with your product always controls. Where a term is model-specific, check the manual in the box or call the manufacturer.
Game Ready

Richmar

Current Solutions (InTENSity, SoundCare)
Device: 1 year. Ultrasound sound head: 1 year. Accessories: up to 6 months by model. Electrodes are not covered.
Proof of purchase required. The Return Authorization number is valid 10 business days. Repairs under warranty do not extend the original warranty period.

Drive Medical
Wheelchairs, walkers, rollators and commodes: limited lifetime to the original purchaser on the frame; some models carry 1 year on other components. Homecare beds: lifetime welds, 5 years frame, 5 years motor, 1 year other parts. Nebulizer compressors: 5 years.
Casters, grips, rubber accessories and other non-durable components are excluded as normal wear. Use of non-Drive replacement parts voids bed warranties. Proof of purchase and serial number required.
Warranty contact: 877-224-0946 or consumersupport@drivemedical.com
Roscoe Medical
Knee scooters and rollators: limited lifetime frame, 90 days on other components. TENS units: 1 year. Nebulizer compressors: 5 years (nebGO 2 years).

Baseline
Hydraulic dynamometers and pinch gauges: LiTE 1 year, Standard 2 years, HD 5 years. Digital LCD gauges: 2 years, parts and labor. Manual muscle testers: 1 year. All other instruments: 1 year minimum.

Dycem

What warranties generally cover
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
- Component failures within the stated period for that component
- Motors, actuators, and electrical assemblies within their term
- Structural frame defects, often for much longer than other parts
- Repair or replacement at the manufacturer's discretion
What warranties generally exclude
- Normal wear items — electrodes, lead wires, gel, casters, grips, hand grips, brake cables
- Consumables and limited-life items such as batteries and printed materials
- Upholstery, vinyl, and foam on several table lines
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, and discoloration
- Damage in transit to or from a service center
- Labor and installation after the first year
- Return shipping, on most brands, after year one
Conditions that limit or void coverage
These are the most common reasons a claim is denied. Nearly all of them are avoidable.
- Missing registration. Several manufacturers — Game Ready, Clinton, and Richmar's Winner EVO line among them — require registration within a set window, and coverage does not exist without it. Register the day the product arrives.
- Unauthorized repair or modification. Opening a sealed device, breaking a warranty seal, or having service performed by anyone other than the manufacturer or an authorized technician ends coverage immediately.
- Non-OEM replacement parts. Substituting third-party parts voids coverage on many powered products.
- Exceeding rated capacity. Loading a table, scooter, or chair beyond its published weight limit voids coverage.
- Improper cleaning. Alcohol-based and other unapproved disinfectants damage medical vinyl and void upholstery coverage on several table lines. Steam cleaning voids Dycem coverage.
- Missed maintenance. Failure to perform the maintenance specified in the manual is an exclusion on most powered equipment.
- Removed or defaced serial number. Coverage is void without a legible serial number.
- Commercial or institutional use of a home-use product. A minority of consumer-grade items are warranted for home use only. If you are buying for a clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility, confirm the product is rated for that setting before purchase — we're glad to check for you.
- Transfer of ownership. Warranties generally run to the original purchaser and do not survive resale.
How to start a warranty claim
- Gather your documentation. You'll need the model number, the serial number from the product label, your purchase date, and a copy of your invoice. If you don't have the invoice, we can resend it — just give us your order number.
- Document the failure. Photograph or take video of the problem, including the serial number plate. Write down what the product does, what it should do, and when the problem started. Most claims move faster with clear photos attached to the first message.
- Contact the manufacturer's service department using the number listed for your brand above. Describe the failure and request a Return Authorization (RA/RMA) number if the product needs to come in.
- Do not ship anything before you have an RA number. Every manufacturer we work with refuses unauthorized returns, and several will send the product back to you at your expense.
- Ship in the original packaging whenever possible, with the RA number marked clearly on the outside of the carton and a copy of your invoice inside. Note that RA numbers commonly expire — several brands allow only 10 business days.
- Let us know if you get stuck. If you can't reach the right department, or a claim stalls, contact us with your order number and the RA number and we'll help move it along.
