Pair of Mettler Straight Hand Grip for Mettler Active Passive Trainer (APT). Two handles are interchangeable for left and right sides of the trainer. Compatible with Mettler APT 8200, 8300, 8400 and 8500.
The Mettler APT can be used in passive or active mode. In the passive mode, it is designed to help disabled for improving circulation, range of motion and muscle tone. It can decrease atrophy, spasms, and swelling. This is great for use in treatment of patients with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Myopathies, and Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. In the active mode, it can help improve strength, endurance, circulation, range of motion and muscle tone. Its clinical applications are for children with motor disorders, senior citizens, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, post traumatic brain damage, Post Polio Syndrome and Post Cardiac rehabilitation.
